Kim Gillies

Associate Director, Talent and Operations

Kim serves as Associate Director of Talent and Operations at WestExec Advisors, supporting Michèle’s day to day operations and the firm’s organizational development, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.

Previously, she managed programming for entrepreneurs, activists and innovators from around the world selected for the Vital Voices/Fortune/U.S. State Department Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership.

Kim spent three years supporting the executive office of Inclusive Security, a leading advocacy organization in the field of women, peace and security founded by Ambassador Swanee Hunt. During that time, she organized signature events that trained more than 5,000 officials on inclusive policymaking, coordinated trainings on leadership and advocacy in seven countries for peacebuilders from 45 conflict zones, and collaborated with C-suite leadership on foundation-wide human capital strategies, change management and organizational planning.

Before Inclusive, Kim supported business development and communications for Women’s Action for New Directions, a national nonprofit committed to empowering women to affect legislation on nuclear weapons and defense spending.

Kim holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University in peace and justice studies and is a proud former rugby captain.
